A Report packages a project’s production accounting, documentation, and evidence for a reporting period. Reports are submitted for verification and, once verified, support credit issuance to the project’s inventory. They meet value stream and registry requirements and communicate results to verifiers and registries.
A Report Requirement is a specific requirement that must be included in a Report to meet a value stream or registry’s rules. Reports have multiple requirements defined by the registry, such as production accounting, or attached writeups, all of which must be met for review or credit issuance.
Submission is the process of sending a completed Report for acceptance or credit issuance. In Mangrove, the submission can be done directly through the platform to connected registries, or recorded for tracking.
Credit Issuance is when a registry or standards body reviews a Report and issues credits to a project’s inventory. This follows successful verification. See Inventory Fundamentals
An Issuance Forecast is an estimate of the number and timing of credits likely to be issued based on project activities. Mangrove automatically creates a new forecast when a Report is submitted. It helps stakeholders plan for credit availability and is updated as new data from Reports or schedules becomes available. See Inventory Fundamentals
