Update a data source on a data feed
Updates an attached data source. Also accepts PUT. Any omitted top-level field is left unchanged. The config, credentials, and state objects merge at the top level: omitted keys are preserved, while a supplied nested object or array replaces that value. Send the complete headers/query object or auth array when editing it. A null value clears a key only when validation permits it. credentials are write-only — stored encrypted at rest and never returned. A change to where a credential is sent — a SQL Server host or port, the origin of a Snowflake account URL, or the origin (scheme, host or port) of an HTTP base_url or token_url — must resend that credential in credentials, or the update fails with 422. source_type cannot change; detach the source and attach a new one. Turning on daily_fetch fails with 422 while another source on the data feed has it on. Returns the updated data feed including all attached sources. Requires the write:data_feed token scope.

Path Parameters
The data feed's friendly ID (e.g. datafd_aBcD1234eFgH5678).
The source's friendly ID (e.g. dsrc_aBcD1234eFgH5678).
Body
Response
Source successfully updated. Returns the updated data feed.
A data feed. List rows omit each transformation's script_content and each source's config; single-feed responses include them.
The data feed's friendly ID.
"datafd_aBcD1234eFgH5678"
"Daily Production Data"
"Imports daily production metrics"
Row number (1-based) containing column headers. Rows above are ignored during ingestion. 1 until a schema sets another value.
1
Why automatic setup could not build the schema (for example an unreadable sample file), or null.
Why the feed cannot accept data yet, or null when it is ready. A new feed reports "Transformation scripts are still being generated" until its scripts are drafted, and "Schema not defined" until a schema exists.
null
The columns of the current schema. Empty until a schema is defined.
The event types the feed's active transformations create.
Active (unarchived) transformations, one per event type.
