> Projects in Mangrove are managed in the "Projects" section.

## Creating a Project

You can create a new Project in the "Projects" section.

Creating a new Project:

* **Fill in Project Details**: To create a new project, users are required to input various details, including:
  * **Project Name**
  * **Description**
  * **Type**: The technology/pathway being applied by the project
  * **Project Status**: The current status of the project. Only `Active` projects will have available inventory that can be sold and delivered to Customers.
* **Registry Details**: Additional details such as registry IDs and the fee percentage can also be added.

You can also create a new Project by duplicating an existing one:

1. Go to the `Projects > All Projects` section
2. On the template project, select the `...` to the right and select `Duplicate Project` from that dropdown
3. Go to the copied project > `Project Details`
4. `Edit` and rename and edit the details of that project.

## Managing a Project

Once a Project has been created, you can easily access that specific Project from the side navigation. Each Project provides a single workspace to manage that project’s production data, commercial inventory, as well as additional details and assets.

### Managing Production Data

If production data collection has been activated on a project, you will see the following tabs: `Data Inputs` , `Production Models` , and `Production Inventory` .

Within each Project, the ongoing production data can be managed by [collecting data](/production-accounting/data-inputs), running them through calculations in the accounting models, and tracking the outputs in **Production Accounting**. The batches of production can then be allocated from the production inventory, to commercial Issuances.

### Managing Commercial Inventory

WIthin each Project, the inventory of commercial credits can be tracked in the **Credit Inventory**. The credits for each Project are tracked as Issuances, then delivered to Customers.
