# User roles

> Below are the various user roles that can be assigned in Mangrove by Account Admins

| Role               | Description                                                                                                                                         | Associated Org                                                          |
| :----------------- | :-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | :---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Admin              | Administrator with full system access. Can manage users, settings, and all data across the platform.                                                |                                                                         |
| Member             | Standard user with access to core features. Can view and interact with assigned resources and participate in regular activities.                    |                                                                         |
| Member - Read Only | Read only access to core features. Can view assigned resources. Cannot add, edit or remove any data.                                                |                                                                         |
| Customer           | End client with access to their specific account information, orders, and support features. Can submit requests and view their transaction history. | Requires user to be associated with an existing Customer in the account |
